Sticking to a neutral palette was important for our client. In all honesty, this scheme isn’t that different from where they started. We did, however, decide to go a little darker on the body, a little softer on the trim, and just as moody on the doors and window sashing. When selecting a fully neutral palette like this one, the undertones were of particular importance, but also the overall warmth each color offered. Melding those two elements intentionally is why this palette is considered so successful. Each color has a mix of warm and cool tones in it. One doesn’t overpower the other, but instead they sit together in harmony, charming and moody with a classic twist!
