Meet Ashley

Owner and Principal Designer, she/her

At the core of Pink Coat Interiors, Ashley believes you can make your own rules for how your home looks and (more importantly) feels. Ashley’s mission is to help create the feeling of “home” for every client using color! Color selection can be daunting for a number of reasons, but Ashley created an approachable practice to helping clients explore and understand color. She’s developed tried and true methods for sampling paint colors successfully, demystifying the paint color selection process to help clients pick beautiful new paint colors for their home.

Ashley discovered her fascination for color at an early age. From collecting paint chips on every trip to Home Depot to convincing her parents to repaint her bedroom (again), Ashley developed a clear understanding of how the space around someone can influence them, and how that influence can change depending on the color of the walls, trim, and ceiling. With a degree in Interior Design and a background in photography, visual merchandising, and home staging, her whole life has been centered around designing interior spaces.

Ashley lives in Seattle with her husband and collection of house plants. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and is on her way to becoming fully NCIDQ certified. She has been a Paint Color Consultant for over 3 years and has recommended interior and exterior paint colors for over 500 homes in the Seattle area!
