Meet Ashley
Owner and Principal Designer, she/her
At the core of Pink Coat Interiors, Ashley believes you can make your own rules for how your home looks and (more importantly) feels. Ashley’s mission is to help create the feeling of “home” for every client using color! Color selection can be daunting for a number of reasons, but Ashley created an approachable practice to helping clients explore and understand color. She’s developed tried and true methods for sampling paint colors successfully, demystifying the paint color selection process.
Ashley discovered her fascination of color at an early age. From collecting paint chips on every trip to Home Depot to convincing her parents to repaint her bedroom (again), Ashley developed a deep understanding of how the space around someone can influence them, and how it can change depending on the color of the walls around her. With a background in all types of photography, visual merchandising, and home staging, her whole life has been centered around spaces. Whether it was taking pictures of landscapes, rearranging retail items on shelves, or setting up furniture to help strangers envision that space as home.
Ashley lives in Seattle with her husband and collection of house plants. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design in 2020 and is on her way to becoming fully NCIDQ certified. She has been a Paint Color Consultant for over 3 years and has recommended paint colors for over 500 homes in the Seattle area!
