Sometimes, the best thing we can do for the exterior of our home is visually simplify it. In this case, we chose to paint some trim elements (belly band and corner boards) the same color as the siding to visually soften the look of the entire home. By doing this, it allows our eyes to focus on the beautiful parts of the home, rather than fixating on the parts that don’t make sense. Combine the fresh paint job with a newly updated porch and sleek house numbers, and suddenly this home looks and feels brand new!
