After a devastating water leak wreaked havoc in our client’s basement, they took the opportunity to make the space feel inviting and warm - truly the epitome of turning lemons into lemonade! To deal with the dim (but expected) basement lighting, we decided to find a balanced off-white that had their desired warmth without feeling too brown or yellow. Adding in a few extra recessed cans also helped this low-ceiling basement not feel so drab! The creamy wall color and newly installed lighting became perfect supporting characters to our client’s colorful and textural furnishings, artwork, and decor!
